Scam Alert: Beware of Unsolicited Calls and Texts

3.22.2023Alert

Please be aware: It is a common tactic for scammers to imitate First Security communications. If a First Security banker contacts you to alert you of compromised bank cards, a genuine employee will not ask you for your One-Time Password or for your banking information. Always call your local banking center if you receive a suspicious text or unsolicited phone call.

NEVER give personal identifying information (PII) such as your full name, Social Security number, driver's license number, bank account number, passport number, debit card number or email address to a received phone call, text, instant message or email. First Security Bank will NEVER ask you for your debit/credit card PIN or password for online banking. If you receive a suspicious notification, call Customer Support directly at (877)611-3118.
