New Market President for First Security Bank North Little Rock

New Market President for First Security Bank North Little Rock

Trenna Barker has been named president of First Security Bank North Little Rock, effective April 1. She replaces John Davis, who recently announced his retirement.

Barker, who has 12 years of banking experience, began her career at First Security in 2011. She served as banking center manager and credit analyst before her promotion to commercial loan officer, the role in which she has spent the last seven years. She will manage the North Little Rock, Sherwood and Maumelle market.

“Trenna has a great understanding of our values, culture and brand promise, and she is surrounded by a great team that complements her well,” said John Rutledge, regional president and CEO of First Security Bank, Little Rock.

Barker, who grew up in Hamburg, Arkansas, graduated from Arkansas State University. She is currently on the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation board and is a CareLink Meals on Wheels volunteer. She served as the 2023 chair of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals board (now known as North Little Rock Connects), and she is a 2022 alumna of Workmatters Institute.

“There is so much opportunity here in our market,” Barker said. “I am looking forward to continuing to build on what John Davis and others before me have built here.”

Barker and her husband, Dillon, and their two sons live in North Little Rock.
